“There has been an exponential rise of AI technologies over the past decade and at the same rate, a rise in opportunities for Australian and Emirati companies to collaborate across the AI and digital technologies sector,” said Mr Pyne.

“The establishment of our AI Technologies Working Group will allow Australian and Emirati businesses to formally connect and analyse potential business opportunities with the intention on developing cross-country relationships.”

Australia UAE Business Council Emirati Co-Chair, HE Badr Al Olama, said, “The AI Technologies Working Group will provide digital technology businesses in the UAE and Australia a platform to share knowledge and further our synergies in AI technology.

“Building this shared understanding will benefit both Emirati and Australian technology companies in the development of potential joint projects continuing to enhance trade ties between both nations,” Al-Olama said.
