The Australia UAE Business Council has today launched its Artificial Intelligence Technologies Working Group.
The Working Group will investigate the availability and maturity of AI technology enablers across Australia and the UAE. It will also seek to identify prospective commercial opportunities for collaboration by Australia UAE Business Council members.
Co-Chairs of the Australia UAE Business Council, the Hon Christopher Pyne, and HE Badr Al Olama, lauded the establishment of the Business Council’s second working group as another step forward in progressing trade relations between Australia and the UAE.
“There has been an exponential rise of AI technologies over the past decade and at the same rate, a rise in opportunities for Australian and Emirati companies to collaborate across the AI and digital technologies sector,” said Mr Pyne.
“The establishment of our AI Technologies Working Group will allow Australian and Emirati businesses to formally connect and analyse potential business opportunities with the intention on developing cross-country relationships.”
Australia UAE Business Council Emirati Co-Chair, HE Badr Al Olama, said, “The AI Technologies Working Group will provide digital technology businesses in the UAE and Australia a platform to share knowledge and further our synergies in AI technology.
“Building this shared understanding will benefit both Emirati and Australian technology companies in the development of potential joint projects continuing to enhance trade ties between both nations,” Al-Olama said.
