Australia UAE Business Council signs MOU with the Australian Business Group Abu Dhabi and Australian Business Council Dubai

The Australia UAE Business Council has today signed a trilateral MOU with the Australian Business Group Abu Dhabi and Australian Business Council Dubai as part of Australia Day at the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit conference in Dubai.

With over 26,000 Australians and 350 Australian-owned and/or operated businesses in the wider Middle East region, the signing of the MOU between the three Australian business councils represents a momentous occasion for “Brand Australia” in the UAE.

Australia UAE Business Council Co-Chairs, the Hon Christopher Pyne and HE Badr Al-Olama, celebrated the establishment of the MOU as a significant step forward in progressing trade relations between Australia and the UAE.

“The objectives of the Australia UAE Business Council, Australian Business Group Abu Dhabi, and Australian Business Council Dubai are aligned in our mutual desire to strengthen the Australia – Arab relationship,” said Mr Pyne.

“The establishment of the MOU will allow Australian business operating in the Emirates to formally connect and support each other.”
