The Australia UAE Business Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Edwards, Managing Director of CutlerMerz, to its Advisory Board.
Mr Edwards brings extensive expertise in the power and energy sector, with a career spanning renewable energy development across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. His experience includes providing technical and commercial due diligence, as well as guiding projects through planning, approvals, design, procurement, and construction for multiple gigawatts of renewable energy capacity.
With substantial knowledge of the electricity regulatory landscape both domestically and internationally, Mr Edwards has also led significant market reform projects, ensuring industry readiness for evolving energy markets. His deep personal connections to the UAE and strong understanding of the region’s strategic priorities position him to make a meaningful contribution to advancing bilateral cooperation in energy.

A chartered engineer with a degree in business administration and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Mr Edwards combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight, making him a valuable addition to the Council’s leadership.
