a) clearly states your research paper’s objectives;
b) explains the value of your research project (i.e. why it is significant / important in some sense and will make an original contribution to knowledge / understanding in the field);
c) proposes suitable and feasible methods to conduct the research; and
d) articulates a well thought-through plan for achieving your research objectives in the available timeframe.
