The 2024 Delegation to Abu Dhabi includes two program options: "Full Delegate" and "Weekday Delegate".

Full Delegate | 6 days (Wed-Mon)

Program itinerary includes:

Weekday Delegate | 4 days (Wed-Fri, Mon)

  • Weekday events, lunches & dinners, as per itinerary
  • Weekday scheduled transfers

Sector-Specific Streams

The delegation's sector streams offer delegates a selection of targeted site visits and engagements, tailored to four key industries.

Defence & Security
This stream highlights Abu Dhabi's leadership in security and defence industry. With a focus on exploring collaboration and strategic partnerships, engagements will highlight developments in advanced manufacturing and the sector’s role in strengthening defence capabilities.

Energy
This stream focuses on Abu Dhabi’s leadership in sustainable energy development, including renewable energy projects and advancements in oil and gas. Delegates will visit industry leaders to engage with experts on topics such as energy transition, efficiency, and the future of clean energy.

Technology
Delegates will delve into the latest digital and technological innovations shaping Abu Dhabi's economy. Site visits will highlight developments in artificial intelligence and space initiatives, providing insights into how technology is driving growth and transformation across multiple sectors.

Infrastructure
This stream explores Abu Dhabi's infrastructure projects, with a focus on urban development, transportation, and sustainable construction. Delegates will visit key sites and engage with leaders to understand how Public-Private Partnerships are driving infrastructure growth and economic resilience.

Accomodation

The Australia UAE Business Council has secured a discounted group rate on accomodation at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. Delegation transfers will depart from this hotel each morning, and return to the same location each evening.

Rate: AED 2,000 (~AUD $820) incl. taxes, per night
Room: Le Royal Room, King
Check in: Wednesday 4 December
Check out: Monday 9 December

Delegates who wish to take advantage of the Council's group rate will receive a link to reserve their room via the web portal.

The discounted rate is subject to availability and must be booked by 11 October 2024.
